Online platforms such as YouTube and Facebook could be fined as much as 10 per cent of their Irish turnover if they fail to comply with new harmful content legislation.  

 

The Online Safety and Media Legislation Bill is designed to prevent the spread of criminal online material.  

 

Catherine Martin, Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media joined Breakfast to tell us all about it.
