Education Minister Norma Foley has apologised to leaving cert students after it was revealed around six and a half thousand students received a lower grade than they should have. The error was due to two coding errors that have been discovered in the calculated grading process. Katherine Donnelly Education Editor at the Irish Independent and Pól Ó Dochartaigh is Deputy President and Registrar at NUI Galway and chair of the board of the CAO.
