Senior Sinn Féin figures are drawing criticism for participating in the funeral ceremonies in Belfast yesterday for veteran republican Bobby Storey, who died last week aged 64.
Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald, Deputy Leader Michelle O'Neill and party TD Pearse Doherty were among the thousands of people who attended the commemorations, despite Covid-19 emergency restrictions.
Breakfast spoke to Jennifer Carroll MacNeill Fine Gael TD for DunLaoighre and Matt Carthy, Sinn Fein TD for Cavan Monaghan was among those attendees at yesterday’s commemorations for Mr Storey.
