The air quality outside schools deteriorates significantly during term.

That’s according to research from the Green Party, which found a 117% increase in nitrogen dioxide during the school term when compared with the summer holiday period.

The research was carried out by Patrick Costello, Green Party Councillor on Dublin City Council and General Election candidate in Dublin South-Central and he joins Newstalk Breakfast to discuss the findings.
