The DUP leader Jeffrey Donaldson announced his party's immediate withdrawal from cross-border political institutions yesterday. Mr Donaldson also threatened to trigger an election at Stormont within weeks unless changes are made to the Northern Ireland protocol. Neale Richmond, is the Fine Gael TD for Dublin Rathdown and Spokesperson on European Affairs joined us this morning with reaction to this story.
