The European Union has launched legal action against AstraZeneca over their handling of the rollout of their coronavirus vaccine in the EU. The European Commission aid it was suing the company for not respecting its vaccine supply contract, and for not having a "reliable" plan to ensure timely deliveries. To discuss this further we heard from Gavin Barrett Professor specialising in European Law in UCD.
