Three-quarters of GAA intercounty players, who were regular drinkers, showed signs of “adverse alcohol use.”   That’s according to a new study which also found two-thirds had experienced alcohol-related harm within the previous 12 months. Dr Kieran Murray – Rheumatologist, shortly to be starting as consultant in University Hospital Limerick and lead author of the study told us more about the findings of the report.
