Tomorrow is International Friendship Day and ALONE, the national organisation that enables older people to age at home is celebrating by supporting and befriending volunteers nationwide.

One man who has felt ‘marvelous’ benefits from ALONE’s volunteering service is Christy Treacy, a 75-year-old ALONE member who told Ciara about the importance of friendship.
