Most pregnant women subjected to domestic violence say shame and the fear of having their children taken away prevented them from asking maternity staff for help. That’s according to a new report by Women’s Aid and Ireland’s leading maternity hospitals.   

 Ciara discusses the stark findings with Eavan Ward, Head of Regional Services at Women’s Aid.
