Officials have urged the government to put a stop to stoves in submissions to a consultation into the new air pollution programme. John Sodeau, Emeritus professor of Chemistry at the Centre for Research into Atmospheric Chemistry at UCC was one such submitter,  and he joined the show to talk about why the emissions from peat and wood burning stoves are apparently toxic to both the environment and human health.
