Animal welfare groups are urging people not to approach Wally the Walrus amid fears he has injured himself climbing on-board boats in Cork.

The arctic walrus has been causing quite a splash in recent weeks, but it appears all is not well with Ireland’s new favourite sea mammal.  Wally was spotted off the coast of Cork yesterday visibly injured, agitated, and stressed. What can the public do to ease his stress while he enjoys the Irish waters ? For more, we spoke to Melanie Croce Executive Director of Seal Rescue Ireland.
