This week Patrick and an esteemed team of philosophers, biographers and political experts discuss the life and intellectual legacy of Alexis de Tocqueville. Joining Patrick on the panel were, Dr Andreas Hess from the School of Sociology at UCD, Dr Jeremy Jennings, Professor of Political Theory at Kings College London, Dr Harvey Mansfield, retired Professor of Government at Harvard University, Dr Chris Surprenant, the Director of the Alexis de Tocqueville Project at the University of New Orleans, Dr Kevin Butterfield,  Director of the George Washington presidential library at Mount Vernon, Virginia,  Professor Albert Dzur, Bowling Green State University in Ohio and Professor Robert Gildea, Professor of Modern History at Worcester College, Oxford.
