A new study has shown a rise of more than 500 percent in children presenting mental health issues in the Temple Street Hospital in a 10-year period. Some of the main complaints they come in with are suicidal thoughts, deliberate self harm and depression. 

Paediatric specialist registrar at Crumlin Hospital Dr Eoin Fitzgerald, who was one of the people behind the study, joined Mark Cagney to explain the data and discuss the topic further.
