The HSE has launched its most ambitions Winter Plan for 2020-2021, costing €600m between now and April next year.
It aims to more than double the number of acute beds, shift as much care as possible into the community, create almost 5 million more home support hours among, and increase the staffing allocation across the service.
But is it achievable?
