Minister for Foreign Affairs Simon Coveney has said quite clearly that the next week-to-ten days are absolutely crucial for the Brexit talks.

But whether there is a deal or not, he has made it clear that Brexit will mean disruption to some service - in particular, Irish trucks.

So why is this week so crucial, and what is ahead of the haulage industry?

Tom Thornton is Brexit Spokesperson with Irish International Freight Association and Eugene Drennan is President of the Irish Road Hauliers Association.  They spoke to Kieran on Tuesday's edition of The Hard Shoulder.
