Having a baby is scary and of course expensive - there’s so much parents need to think about, and it’s only natural that we might forget a few things. So wouldn’t it be nice if we could get a box with all the essentials for a newborn - and a new parent?

That’s what Fine Gael is proposing - a free baby box to all new mums across Ireland. 

Neale Richmond, Fine Gael TD for Dublin Rathdown joined Kieran Cuddihy to explain how that would work.
