It is over a decade since the financial collapse in Ireland, and a lot of anger justifiably remains over what happened.

But has the bashing of the banks gone so far that the discourse around the sector is not helpful in providing a solution to the issues that are there?

Ross Maguire, founder of New Beginning and Senator Marie Louise O’Donnell debate the point. 

Maguire doesn't believe the bashing helps constructive discourse around the banks, while O'Donnell believes they deserve all the flak they receive.
