Over the last few weeks, Newstalk regular Barbara Scully has been trying to green her life.

She’s been making the effort in her home to be more environmentally friendly as part of the series with SSE Airtricity: she’s had a home energy assessment, she’s learned how to reduce plastics in her weekly shop. 

In this episode Odile LeBolloch environmental scientist with the EPA joined Barbara to take a look at the issue of food waste.
