Britain is to close its borders to unskilled workers and those who can’t speak English as part of a fundamental overhaul of immigration laws that will end the era of cheap EU labour in factories, warehouses, hotels and restaurants.

Home Secretary Priti Patel said the UK has been 'dependent' on EU low-skilled labour as she explained the government will introduce a new point-based immigration system in Westminster.

Ivan spoke to The Right Honorable Anne Widdecombe, Immigration Lawyer Derek Stewart and Gwythian Prins, Emeritus Professor at the London School of Economics about their differing opinions on a new system.
