Former Fine Gael MEP for Dublin Brian Hayes is the new CEO of Banking and Payments Federation Ireland, and Ivan wanted to take him to task on why he's becoming a spokesperson for an industry he used to accuse of 'fleecing' the Irish public.

Hayes conceded to Ivan that the industry has been too slow to be up front with why it makes certain decisions, and that more transparency is needed.

He explained all to Ivan on the Hard Shoulder, as well as reflecting on his time as a MEP and giving his views on the performance of the current Irish Government.
