Should there be car exclusion zones outside schools?

We’ve all seen the chaos outside the school gates as children go in and out of school. Well Glasgow are trialling an initiative in seven of their schools that will see schools as a ‘car-free’ zone. The reasons are that it would be safer, greener and encourage children to be more active. Ivan spoke to The Times Ireland’s Richie Oakley in a moment, but firstly, he called Glasgow to find out more about this initiative, as Glasgow City Council’s Anna Richardson joined him.
