Taoiseach Leo Varadkar came out this week to say that the compassionate thing to do would be to allow ISIS suspect Lisa Smith to return home.

Following the death of her husband, Smith wants to return home with her 2 year old child.

Director of the Iona Institute and Sunday Times columnist David Quinn told Ivan why he's not convinced a Catholic would be shown the same compassion that she is being shown.
