Google has pulled the plug on taking a large office block in the city centre, that would have housed over 2,000 staff.

And on the back of that concerns have been raised that the city centre has over the years been prioritised more for shoppers and tourists than for people to live in.

And because of this the city centre is visibly quieter.

But just how quiet is it? And why are people avoiding the city centre?
