"Completely Bizarre" Eoin O'Broin slams proposal to subsidise developers

Eoin O’Broin, Sinn Fein spokesperson on housing, gave his reaction to news that developers could be paid up to €120,000 per apartment by the State to fund the shortfall between worsening building costs and current market prices as part of the new Croí Cónaithe Cities scheme.

Developers will be paid up to €120,000 per apartment by the State to fund the shortfall between worsening building costs and current market prices as part of the new Croí Cónaithe Cities scheme put forward by Housing Minister Darragh O’Brien.
