Coveney evacuates Belfast event due to 'suspect device'

Minister for Foreign Affairs Simon Coveney was escorted to a safe location by police earlier this morning because of a security alert at a venue in Belfast where he had been giving a speech.

The incident happened at the Houben Centre near Ardoyne in North Belfast, which was hosting an event for the John and Pat Hume Foundation.
