Diego Maradona has died at the age of 60.
The former Argentina captain and manager had had successful surgery on a brain blood clot earlier in November.
News came through on Wednesday afternoon of his death.
Off The Ball's John Duggan, Liverpool and England legend Phil Thompson (who played against him in 1980) and listener, Hugh, who was within shouting distance of the infamous 'Hand Of God' all paid tribute to the Argentine icon.
