Driving Age: 16-year-olds 'a much higher risk' on roads - Insurance Ireland

A new controversial measure has been proposed by the EU as part of a major revision of EU rules on driving licences in order to “address mobility issues in remote areas.” It would see 16 year old’s drive vehicles limited to a maximum speed of 45km/h.
