We saw the first sitting of the latest Dáil term on Thursday.

One of the talking points in the aftermath of the election was that there was increase of one female TD compared to 2016 - meaning it went from 35 to 36 TDs.

Why aren’t more female TDs being elected?

To debate the need for quotas, Ivan was joined by Patricia Casey, columnist with the Irish Independent and consultant psychiatrist at the Mater Hospital, and Senator Ivana Bacik.
