You know what they say - you’re waiting ages for a bus and then three come along at the same time. 

It was a similar situation today in the midlands when three govt ministers were in both Offaly and Longford to meet workers who are set to lose their jobs at two power stations.

While the number of people directly employed comes to 90, there are fears that the local economy could be substantially hit as the transition fund has been widely rejected by unions and local representatives.
