Over the weekend, there was more talk about the FAI and Irish football off the pitch than about the match against Gibraltar.

The Sunday Times revealed that the association was paying €3,000 a month for John Delaney's rental accommodation in Wicklow, and it was announced that he was changing roles from CEO to Executive Vice President.

Ewan MacKenna is a journalist, and he spoke to Ivan on Monday giving his reaction to the latest details.
