It is 10 years since An Garda Síochána went through one of its most turbulent times that saw the then Garda Commissioner Martin Callinan resign from his top position.  

Many will remember he stood down due to his handling of information from whistleblowers Maurice McCabe and John WIlson, and the controversies over the wiping of driver penalty points.
