Garda investigations are continuing following the discovery of human body parts in a sports bag in Coolock last night.
Body parts were found in a sports bag last night at around 10pm.
The bag had been left at a green area near the junction of Moatview Gardens and Moatview Drive in the Priorswood area of Coolock.
Now the find was made by a group of local young people and the limbs where then removed by ambulance to the city morgue and attempts are under way today to identify the body parts with the help of Forensic Science Ireland.
Meanwhile one line of inquiry for Gardai is that the discovery of the body parts may be linked to the disappearance of a teenage boy suspected of being involved in the Drogheda drug feud.
