Newstalk Goes Green this October, and it's with thanks to Repak’s Team Green.

The station is exploring all of the different ways we can help protect our environment and futureproof the planet.

On Thursday's edition of The Hard Shoulder the show looked at the carbon footprint of our food, and it’s not just those avocados flown in from Mexico that we should feel guilty about!

Dr.Cara Augustenborg is an environmental scientist, and she explained the carbon foot created by our food choices.

Now, don't forget to join Team Green and make the most of your recycling at Repak.ie.
