It’s been a day of reaction today to the Government’s latest contingency plan for a No Deal Brexit, which was released yesterday evening.

Ivan was joined by Gavin Barrett, Professor of Law at the Sutherland School of Law in University College Dublin, Danny McCoy, CEO of Ibec and Aodhan Michael Connolly, Director of the Northern Ireland Retail Consortium for their analysis and reaction.

Barrett told the Hard Shoulder that a Hard Border looks all but inevitable, while McCoy contended that a transition period is absolutely necessary.

Connolly told Ivan that Northern Ireland would be hit first, hardest and for the longest time by what is to come.
