The UK Government has announced plans for a "free speech champion" to ensure universities in England do not stifle freedom of speech and expression.

That person will regulate matters such as "no-platforming" of speakers by universities or student unions.

David Quinn is columnist with the Sunday Times, and Nathan Young, is Deputy Editor with the University Observer in UCD.  They joined Sinead on Tuesday's edition of The Hard Shoulder to debate the issue of free speech.
