"House parties are to blame, not pubs and restaurants"

We will find out this evening if pubs and restaurants in Dublin will be forced to close for the next three weeks, after the National Public Health Emergency Team made the recommendations to Cabinet yesterday.

An annoucement is expected from Taoiseach Michael Martin at around 6pm.

The Restaurants Association of Ireland released a statement saying they are shocked and that they were not the problem.

While a number of resataurant and pub owners have said they feel the hospitality sector is being unfairly treated.
