Solving the housing crisis has been a contentious issue for a number of years now, but it seems various interested bodies and economists are reading the signs differently.

Ivan has been keeping a close eye on the market, and today he was joined in studio by John McCartney, director of research for Savills.

John contends that the supply and demand balance is improving, and maybe - just maybe - the market is starting to right itself.
