The Chief medical officer Tony Holohan has defended NPHET’s advice surrounding the use of antigen testing.

He’s appeared at the Oireachtas Transport Committee this afternoon on the matter.

Professor Philip Nolan, the chair of the  Epidemiological Modelling Advisory Group to NPHET said any pilot study on antigen tests would have to be a very large study.

Cathal Crowe, Fianna Fail TD from Clare, and member of the Oireachtas Transport committee, President of the Irish Air Line Pilots’ Association Captain Evan Cullen joined Kieran on the Hard Shoulder.
