Two homeless people have died in counties Dublin in Wexford in the past 24 hours.
The body of a man in his 40s was found in a Dublin house by Gardai at a residential property on North Frederick Street shortly before 11pm. It is understood that foul play is not suspected in the sudden death.
While the body of a homeless man in his 60s was discovered in Wexford Town this morning by Gardai. It is believed that the man was a Polish national and had been sleeping rough for a time.
There has now been five homeless deaths in just over a week, while over 50 homeless people have died this year. Last year there was 37.
