The VAT rate for the hospitality and tourism sector will reduce from 13.5 per cent to 9 per cent on Sunday.

This was, of course, announced in the Budget earlier this month.

Paschal Donohoe is the Minister for Finance, and he joined Mark on Friday's edition of The Hard Shoulder to explain what the impact will be.
