This week Gavin joined Kieran to discuss the case of a lady from Democratic Republic of Congo was giving birth in the Coombe Hospital in Dublin when she suffered a significant haemorrhage. The woman refused a blood transfusion as she said she was a Jehovah's Witness. The hospital got an order from the High Court to administer a transfusion against her will. The patient then attempted to sue the hospital...
