With dozens of CUH staff told to self-isolate at home, we wanted to find out what's really involved.

And while you might think two weeks at home would be a nice break from the real world, real self-isolation as expected by the HSE is a tough challenge.

From living in one room for the entire fortnight, to eating your meals alone, and refraining from all physical contact, it is not an easy task.

Dr Phil Kieran is a GP in Washington St in Cork, and he explains what it entails
