We have all heard about the diagnosis this weekend of the first case of the coronavirus this weekend to be diagnosed in the Republic of Ireland.

The Department of Health are continuing to monitor the situation.

Anthony O’Connor is a consultant gastroenterologist at Tallaght University Hospital, who also happens to be an expert in infectious disease, and he joined Ivan to give his view on how Ireland is reacting to the threat.
