Anne Widdecombe, a lifelong Conservative, is making a return to the frontline of politics to stand as a candidate for Nigel Farage’s Brexit party in the European elections.

For those unfamiliar with Ann, she’s a former Minister in the Home Office, Minister of Employment and shadow Health Secretary.

Ivan reckons she might be attention-seeking with this move, and decided to push her on the issue, as well as pressuring her on the idea that the UK would be better off just getting on with leaving the EU.
