Under plans being finalised by Garda chiefs to deal with Brexit, armed support units will shortly be deployed around the clock in the Border region.

Training has almost been completed for additional officers to expand two existing units into 24-hour services.

So is the Border ready to deal with whatever comes our way post-Brexit?
