After weeks of preparations and discussions with industry representatives, the Cabinet has agreed on a plan for the reopening of indoor hospitality.
The Government has come under pressure from the opposition over their plans, amid concerns the measures will be rushed through the Dail.
Tánaiste Leo Varadkar called the plan "far from perfect, but the only way we can reopen".
He joined Kieran on The Hard Shoulder and said he would prefer if there was no time limit on indoor dining.
The Tánaiste admitted that plans for reopening indoor hospitality are not fool proof, however the need for a 1 hour 45 minute restriction is under review.
