On the 17th of May 1974, three no-warning bombs exploded in Parnell Street, Talbot Street and South Leinster Street during rush hour. 26 people and an unborn child were killed and over 300 people were injured.  A further seven people were killed in a simultaneous bombing in Monaghan.

Photographer, Tom Lawlor was on the scene and documented the horrific fallout from the bombings and he joined studio as did Paul Mulhern, who was also caught up in the attack 45 years ago today...
