Limerick has today launched a new brand!

It’s aimed at promoting the city nationally and globally as a destination for inward investment, industry, tourism, education, the arts and culture, education and for people to live and work in.

It’s called "Limerick: Atlantic Edge, European Embrace", and is an effort to internationalise the city.

A man who was at the launch was John Moran, Chair of the Land Development Agency and Chair of Liveable Limerick, and he joined Ivan to explain.

Also, as former secretary general at the Dept. of Finance, Ivan wanted his take on political promises on spending during the General Election campaign, with Moran telling Ivan, "...it's really important that we send a message to politicians that they shouldn't be trying to buy elections!"
