The voting record of Fianna Fail has been called into question after three TDs admitted to casting votes that weren’t accurate.

Mayo TD Lisa Chambers says she sat in Dara Calleary’s seat by mistake last Thursday and cast his vote instead of her own. However she apologised for not correcting the record with the teller, explaining that the vote wasn’t close and she didn’t deem it necessary.

However Timmy Dooley and Niall Collins have stepped down from the party’s front bench after Niall admitted to casting Timmy’s vote six times when he wasn’t in the chamber. An investigation into the matter has begun.

Our Political Correspondent Sean Defoe, and our reporter Shane Beatty hit the phones to ring around as many TDs as they could speak to to ask about their voting habits.
