Make Way Day - keep paths clear for those with mobility issues

If you left your bins out overnight to be collected, you might notice a sticker on them when you get home later.

Today is Make Way Day and people right across the country will be highlighting examples of blocked paths, which prevent people with mobility issues from getting around.

Newstalk reporter, Aideen Finnegan, has taken a trip around the George's Street area with wheelchair user Maryam Madani to witness the obstacles people face on a daily basis.

Bad parking, wheelie bins and bikes locked in inappropriate places are also huge offenders.

We also hear from Laura O'Callaghan from the Disability Federation of Ireland, Enable Ireland service user Sharon and John Muprhy, who is Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council's accessibility officer.
